Note that some Conrys have the surname of ÒConroyÓ. If a visitor to this site can explain how or why this occurred, please email me.

Note also that there is a ÒThomas ConryÓ in five generations since my brother and son are also named Thomas.

This site has attracted some visitors and emigration tidbits:

Dan Conry came to the US in 1850s from Cork, escaping the Hunger along with a sister. He moved from New York to TennesseeÕs Pelham Valley building railroads and bridges. So says his great-great-great-grandson. (1 June, 2000)

Christophe Conry from the French west coast said hello. (26 May, 2001)

Sean Conry wrote from Johannesburg and had been convinced the Conry clan was really small and isolated to his continent. He is the son of Eric, whose sister Crystal relocated to the US. (30 Jan, 2003)

Tim Conry from Massachusetts started an accounting business and found us while researching website names. Family comes from Mayo, parish of Knock. (21 Jan, 2005)

Declan Conry from Australia wrote in Nov. 2009 that he is a second cousin and provided much of the information above. His grandfather was Patrick Henry Conry (in the first paragraph).

If you are a Conry and wish to say hello, please send an email. Providing ancestry emigration information is most appreciated.
